Our East Bergholt U7's were in action today against Elmden Rovers, with the current uncertainty of when our next game will be we observed a minutes silence a week early.

The last time these two teams met there were 14 goals shared equally between them, todays game was set to be thrilling and it didn't disappoint! Bergholt were behind early on after a mix up in defence , and before you knew it they were caught out again! Then FB got Bergholt off the mark, Bergholt were lucky with the second as it bounced off a defender, then FB got another and claimed a third before half time although we were not sure who had the final touch! The teams went in at half time with just one goal separating them! The second half was much like the first with Bergholt conceding early but then coming back with MN scoring first, then JM getting on the score sheet and finally FB making sure of his hattrick with the last goal of the game....

A 12 goal thriller with happy warn out players on both teams is just what was needed for what could be the last game for some time.
