EBUFC Junior’s & Women’s FC AGM took place last week following yet another disrupted and challenging season for all involved in grassroots football across the country.

Many voluntary roles have remained in the hands of the previous owners however David George has stepped down as Chairperson for the upcoming 21/22 season however he remains attached and actively involved with the club.

As a club, we would like to go on record to thank David George for his time, experience and enthusiasm over the last few years.

Stepping up to the Chairperson’s role is Lee Partridge, who was previously our Vice-Chairperson. Carl Nunn has kindly taken on the vacated Vice-Chairperson role.

Lee Partridge has been involved with EBUFC on the senior side for many years including playing during the treble title seasons many years ago.

He now runs two of our club's youth teams, this season U12’s United who play Saturdays in the Suffolk Youth league and also the U9’s who play Sundays in the Colchester YDF league. Both of his sons currently play for the club hence managing two teams.

Lee also has taken on responsibility for running EBUFC’s very successful Greenshoots Football club, held Saturday mornings at our Flatford Lane ground during the season. This club has produced new teams, for this year U7’s and will be instrumental in generating new teams for the club going forward.

Building the club from bottom to top sensibly and sustainably, whilst generating valuable income for the club due to all coaches volunteering, before reinvesting back into ALL areas of the club.

The club would also like to go on record and thank all volunteers, officials, managers, coaches, players, parents, supporters and sponsors for their ongoing support during the unprecedented seasons we have just experienced.

EBUFC Junior’s & Women’s Chairperson will soon be releasing information regarding the club and how it intends to reward and benefit further ALL linked to the club and those who have shown support over the last couple of years.
