Sumner joined Bergholt in the 24/25 season, but didn't feature until the 25/26 campaign.
Sumner made his Bergholt debut for the A's against Achilles FC Reserves (30/08/25), which he scored in as well, but unfortunately Bergholt lost the game 2-3.
Sumner made his Reserve team debut in a match against Coplestonians FC Reserves (22/11/25), which the Reserves won 1-2 thanks to Sumner, who netted the 2nd for Bergholt.
