Butchart is an established player within the Suffolk & Ipswich League, haven played for the likes of AFC Kesgrave, Claydon FC & Ufford Sports. Butchart is best described a pacey full back, who can also do a job on the wing.

Butchart started his Bergholt career brightly, when he scored in pre-season for the A Team against Bradfield Rovers Reserves in a 2-3 loss (19/07/25), which was his first ever goal at senior level. He then scored another in pre-season, when he netted in a 0-8 win for the A's against Brooks Hall Rovers Reserves (09/08/25).
