The U11's currently play in the Colchester District Youth Football League on Sundays which is a slightly different set up to other EBUFC age groups within the club. The reason behind this is due to the manager Lee Partridge also running his older son's U14's team on Saturdays. Lee is helped by Frankie Martin.
22/23 season saw us finish strongly and to register some brilliant results against strong opposition. Not always wins but improved results ( score wise - if that really matters ).
The 23/24 season will see us transition and play the 9v9 format, which will be great for further development of the players. It also means no retreat from Goal kicks and the dreaded 'offside' which will mean another season understanding, learning and developing whilst taking part in a very challenging competitive CYFDL.
The CDYFL is brilliantly organised, meaning virtually no gaps during the season to fill. Lots of games and lots of fun, leagues getting chopped around regularly to find the right balance between teams which have resulted in some absolutely cracking games.
We welcome new additions to the squad as we move into 9v9, which will only improve, strengthen and challenge all involved.
